In today’s video I am sharing with you a little food prep for the week, where I try new recipes, explore flavours and get prepped for the week ahead.
For me sustainable living is always about cooking from scratch where possible, valuing what you own, introducing minimalist ideals by keeping our space free of unwanted items and lowering our waste wherever possible. Zero waste living is something I strive for. Meal prepping for autumn, learning new skills and minimising wherever I can. I hope you enjoy this calm cooking video!

So excited for more frequent uploads!!!
It's sadly hard to find (and expensive), but that dairy-free Boursin is sooo decadent and delicious!
I'm just watching you delicious winter videos as we roll into boiling hot summer. Still look amazing though. Will try them in july when it cools down.
Always enjoy your videos. Thanks.
This book is great
I love your eye makeup!! I know it is not your usually content, but i would love to see this routine/grwm focusing on the makeup look 😊
I changed up my usual dinner routine and made the caramelized onions and mushrooms on butterbean mash recipe from your book last night, and it was SO GOOD! Totally loving everything about The Conscious Kitchen!
Inspiring as always!
I have the big vegan flavor cookbook as well. I noticed it in the background of one of your videos recently. I made the creamy tahini lentils and crispy garlic. 🤤 It was sooo good. I also tried the mushroom Carnitas which were good. So far every recipe has been really good!!
I’m curious, what brand of Dutch oven do you recommend for making sourdough bread? I’ve looked for second hand but I wasn’t sure if brands mattered or not. I can’t wait to see part two!
Thank you so much for the motivation and inspiration to cook with fresh ingredients. Looking forward to the next video!
Hey Immy!
Just a lil (hopefully helpful) quick word on your lovely loaf.
To ensure optimal sourdough rise and bulk (for that lovely texture), don’t add flavourings/mix-ins until it’s bulked for the first time. It needs a chance to do its thing and adding these things prohibits this. Then go wild!
I’m a sourdough baker in London and have made many tweaks over the years 🙂 🍒🍂🧡
Love that olive cardi, super exuberant on you.
I find cooking like this so wonderful but so time-consuming. Some days, I just don't got the get up and go 😅
Have a great day Immy 🪷
I’m not much of an at home cook, I aspire to be more so. I did get Rainbow Plant Life’s cookbook a couple months back as well and have yet to cook anything from it. It remains my winter project. I’m getting over a terrible thanksgiving illness myself so soup mode has been activated lol. ✌️🌱
Everything looks so yummy, thank you for sharing!
There is another book “the art of vegan cooking” by Joe Yonan that just came out and looks amazing too.
Thanks!
Weird question, but what type of knife are you using when chopping the vegetables for the soup? Have been looping for something like it (like a mini asian cleaver for chopping veg).
This made me very excited to get Big Vegan Flavour for Christmas 😂 and also inspired me to get some food prep done this weekend!
when you cut to the bit about "taking a break for an energy boost" while holding a cup of green… something, I fully thought you were about to go into an AG1 sponsorship lol (no hate to matcha, either, lol I drink it all the time – just as a latte!)
Heii great video. Whenever my soups are to bland I add a little soysauce. It gives you saltiness and depth and is my personal soup rescuer.
I really appreciate your honesty when something you make isn't the most delicious thing ever; it makes it easier to trust you when something turns out perfectly. It's refreshing to know even great innovative cooks don't get it right every time!
What do you mean when you say that you ran out of time?
Soups and stews are really the best in winter and our winter is loooong, so can't get enough inspiration for them. I hope I'll get Nisha's Big vegan flavour for Christmas! Looking forward to browse it and find the things you mentioned!
ooft that Greek salad with the marinated chickpeas was SPEAKING to me!!! everything looked delicious as always xxx
Where is your cardigan from? Love it! Everything you made looks so delicious
