Ramen-San restaurant in Chicago, IL. This was the 10-hour tonkotsu bowl. That meat was so tender OMG 🤤

Ramen-San is one of my all time faves!

That looks incredible and maybe it’s just the angle/lighting, was the broth split at all? Almost looks like the emulsion is broken

Ramen-San is good but overpriced. If you’re in Chicago land, Strings is the king of Ramen.

Bold move going here over Akahoshi.

You gotta do sake bombs anytime you’re at Ramen-San. My self-imposed rule, at least.
My go-to order is the 10-hour tonkotsu with sesame chili oil

We were there in OCT and got the lunch special with the 10 hour. IT WAS GREAT!
There was also a lil mis-hap and it ended up being free.

Is it within walking distance of Union? Definitely need to go there!!

Had Ramen-san once like 5 years ago and it was incredibly mid – I haven’t been in a few years. I have yet to try Akahoshi but my favorite ramen shop from that area is probably Chicago Ramen or the Chicago Ramen Annex in the northwest suburbs
