Y’all… let’s be for real. This “salsa” is just sad.
Overall, the flavor of the dish was 9/10.
I give the overall dish a 7/10.
The “salsa” was an utter waste. The dish was quick to prepare, however the chicken cutlets were cut weird. After putting them in the pan to cook, I had to take it out to cut down further. The sour cream got mixed with lime zest which was enjoyable. The dish overall wasn’t terribly unique. I could have made a double serving of this entire meal for roughly $12 vs the $40 I paid and had leftovers for tomorrow. I understand I’m paying for the convenience however this one was a simple chicken and rice dish that didn’t take much creativity.
I’d likely order it again however I’d use chicken from the fridge and extra rice from the pantry to double the recipe for leftovers. I’d likely buy my own tomatoes too.
