Hi folks,
No tasting notes because they haven't been consumed yet, but what is everyone's Christmas 2024 line-up?
With the whole roasted beef rib fillet on the menu, I feel some aged Barossa Shiraz and Hunter Valley Cabernet will do just nicely. The '06 Prümm Auslese will round the day out nicely with some boozy Christmas cake and a trifle with waaaaaay to much sherry.
Super excited for Christmas this year, and even more excited to see what everyone else is drinking.

Sweet lineup, would love to be at that table.
Thinking mine will look something like:
Veuve Fourny BdB NV and 2022 Clemens Busch Vom Graun Schiefer Riesling to go with seafood (oysters, prawns, kingfish tataki)
2021 Clos Sainte Magdeleine Cassis Rose in between courses (alongside light nibbles)
2021 Sierra de Tolono ‘La Dula’ Garnacha & 2019 Delsignore ‘il Putto’ Gattinara to go with the main (baked ham, roast veggies and some salad/s)
Dessert is as yet undecided, but got some nicely aged Suduiraut, Wendouree Muscat, or Stanton & Killeen Rare Muscat that could make an appearance.
Saving the really crazy stuff for NYE with my wine nerd friend.
Wow, very nice. From your collection or you did you find from a supplier?
Buying some wild duck creek tomorrow for the day.
Recent Langtons haul? Seen a bunch of these lately on auction
Very nice lineup. Are you in Australia? Isn’t the Wendouree fruit from Clare, rather than Barossa?
