I just moved to a new house and I found this guy in the backyard. I was planning on buying a smoker this year anyways, but wanted to see if this was worth a little bit of elbow grease. I plugged it in and the pellet grinder appears to work. There’s obviously a lot of rust on some of the internal components, but I assume I could also replace these if the bones of this thing are solid.

I’m in California and I’m assuming this thing is sat outside all of its life, and the salt water in the air probably isn’t helping either.

Is this worth the time or am I better off buying a new one?

Hey! It looks like you posted an image!

If this is a photo of one of your cooks, maybe share the recipe and techniques
used, as it’s almost guaranteed one of the first questions you will be asked!

    *What seasoning did you use?

*How long did you cook it, and at what temperature?

*Did you use any special tricks or techniques?

    Traeger on!

Sure, why not? Aesthetics won’t change how it cooks

I was given one that looked exactly like this. It works perfectly, is just what I need to learn on, and parts are available.
