Depends what it is I guess. Sometimes I’ll do this with the salt and pepper containers just cause there’s no chance of them having something crawl inside.

Things should be prepped line ready. So when they are needed you can just grab and go without any extra work.
While it would take 2 seconds to take off. Thats super annoying in a rush. Not worth it in my opinion.

my new station partner does this shit. single wrap over the top compartment of the lowboy. uses sharpie directly on deli cups and lids. he told me i was wasting time by making tape labels the other day. i just looked at him for like 8 seconds, didnt say anything and then went back to making my labels LOL
