READING, Pa. – The Berks County Agency on Aging held their 55th annual Christmas dinner on Saturday.

The Double Tree was filled with around 185 seniors, and an Elvis impersonator for some entertainment!

They all got to indulge in some good food, good company, and good times.

Organizers say events like these are important for members to feel like they’re a part of something.

“This is really a great opportunity for those individuals that don’t have a lot of family available to them or that don’t live close by to enjoy a nice holiday event. A nice meal, entertainment, camaraderie,” said Jessica Jones, director of Berks County Agency on Aging.

The Berks County Agency on Aging also organized drop off of home meals for those who couldn’t make it to the dinner.
