    Oh sadness! I’ve had this happen. This generally happens when the tops cook faster than the bottoms. Placing the baking sheet towards the bottom of the oven should help, and/or reducing the oven temp slightly. Cocoa powder in the shells tends to soften them up a lot too, you might need to add an extra minute to your bake time.

    It could be that they aren’t cooked long enough or they didn’t cool off long enough.

    You didn’t mess up you just underbaked them a bit. The best part of chocolate macarons is that if you overtake, you can’t tell if they’re browned so don’t be afraid of adding another minute or two. 
    But if this happens again, there’s an easy save. Put the whole thing in the fridge to cool then peel them off the way you would a sticker and bend the silpat.

    I’ve had this happen. Here’s the tip that helped me get perfectly cooked macarons that don’t stick to the pan: when you take them out of the oven, gently nudge one of the shells with a finger. If the top of the cookie moves to the side, it’s not yet done and you should cook them for another few minutes. You want to poke the side of the shell and have the cookie not move anywhere. Just don’t overcook them. Hope this helps!
