  1. I’m Italian but by no means a carbonara expert, however I can’t help but notice the egg looks very liquid. Did you mix the yolks with cheese creating a creamy emulsion beforehand?

    Nope. Sorry but the egg is just too liquid. Also, carbonara is from Roma, whatever you ate in Siena was probably tasty but also not great if that’s how it looked. Cute pasta shape tho.
