Having the option to taste some of these, especially the Bandol and the two different Bekaa Valleys made for a really unique experience. My partner and I ordered just about every wine as a taster and had a fantastic dinner.

I’ve had a handful of these. It’s a nice selection! Love the wines from Grape Abduction and Azimut in particular

  2. Those prices look crazy good.  24 for a glass of Tempier rose?  Fuck yeah!

I’ll have to put this on my must visit list next time I’m in KC.

Very refreshing to see a list like this. This owner/gm gets it. The same can’t be said for the other 95% who think the only wine that exists is what see at their local Kroger.

Update: they sell all of these to-go for 50% off!! Our suitcase back to Chicago is bustling with wine and we haven’t even made it to Christmas with the family yet!

Great list but the Gauby rips in particular IMO.

It’s a super fun list, I wonder how good their pull through is. Here they’d wind up dumping a lot probably as the local clientele by and large isn’t that adventurous.

  7. We love Mineral Lounge. We had the Musar Jeune and Tempier Rouge when we last went.

  8. I’m going to comment in all-caps, so be prepared. THIS IS A RESTAURANT THAT NEEDS TO BE SUPPORTED. Wine list is great, prices make it incredible. EAT THERE IF YOU CAN.

This is the kind of list I like. Short but diverse, small and larger producers, some semi-obscure and some well-known names, and reasonable prices.

$24/g of Domaine Tempier Blanc and Rouge?? That’s crazy great prices. How do they even have enough of the white to pour it BTG?? From my understanding, Tempier is pretty allocated and the white is super small production as is all white Bandol.

That is a super cool wine list, though, and fits the Mediterranean theme pretty well.
