Uhhh I probably wouldn’t unless it was to get more variety🤷♂️ I would just try to get single plants massive af with ferts and such

You could partner your plants up, but they will compete for space as they grow larger. Not a huge problem if your containers are large enough to accommodate it, you just have to be aware of how big certain varieties get at their maturity.
Thai peppers can grow tall and slender where as habaneros can get quite stout and bushy. Large leaf sweet Italian basil gets quite wide, while columnar basil grows much like it’s namesake.
If you’re not afraid to, pruning can help keep things tidy and promote good airflow as the plants get denser in foliage.

Not in the same container, but I’ve learned marigolds make for AMAZING companion plants to peppers
