My first ever Black Forest cake, complete with a fresh cherry almond filling. This is a keeper!

P. S. – The country crock plant whipping cream is absolutely amazing. It whipped gorgeously!

The icing is three cups of plant whipping cream plus about 1/2 to 1 cup powdered sugar depending on your tastes. Add vanilla and almond extract to taste.
