We’re big fans of anything Evesham Wood & Haden Fig and at $29 that’s a good price for that Pinot.

Lava Cap cab for $25 is a great price. We’re drinking the old vine zin now.

Cristom and land of saints for American Pinot

The Paysan cab is delicious

There is one on the bottom row called “Sexual Chocolate” which is a hilarious movie reference. I’d start there but I must admit I’ve never tried it.

I used to sell a couple of these so I might be biased, but:
Dead center first pic, Matsu El Picaro- deeply unsettling label, great tempranillo
Top row first pic- Bloodroot Pinot
Bottom row second pic- Bonny Doon le cigare volant
Edit: almost missed Big Flower cab, top right first pic. South African cab, interesting if not groundbreaking. I really enjoy it.

That Hayden fig and Cristom are really good. Went to visit the wineries a few months ago in Oregon and was really impressed

Terre Blondes cab Franc is very solid, agree with others on the Cristom. While I like this producers orange, the “Vin de Days” from Willamette Valley was not very enjoyable for me (would love to hear other opinions)
almafuerte12
Second row from top to bottom- two Chilean ones, a Carignan/Cinsault and a Carmenere.

That is a really nice selection of wines, in that several regions are represented at varying price points. I will explore all day long in that $12 to $25 range..

Surprised to see Folktale there. Is this market central coast, ca?
GanderGoose222
Wow. What an interesting selection. A mix of mass produced stuff with small boutique producers and a handful of natty wine. Come to think of it, I’m kind of impressed they pulled this off with such limited space. You’ve got a good local market there. Personally, drink your way through that wall, at least within the price point you’re comfortable in, and see what you like and don’t like. Out of curiosity, where are you located?

Whoever stocked these shelves is instantly reminding me of High Fidelity. There appears to be NO rhyme or reason to this….
That Terre Rouge Tête à Tête is a good one, the Bonny Doon Cigare Volant should be good as long as they stuck to Grahm-era quality, the Auvergne Gamay is pretty nice, and the Kermit Lynch CDR is great value.

Brady Petite Syrah is good. Barricas Malbec is also solid.

I just bought a 6-pk of the Haring Super Tuscan! So good! I did a post in another forum about the wine….
Brilliant ruby red color. Complex, with aromas of wild roses, cherries, mint, cassis and licorice. Vanilla and cedar, buttery oak with good acidity. Long finish.
“We met quite randomly on a sidewalk in the East Village. I was a young student from Pisa, passionate about art, Keith was at the peak of his career and I recognized him immediately and I approached him, I said goodbye and invited him to do something important in Italy. The next day I was in his studio and we started working on the creation of “Tuttomondo” Piergiorgio Castellani
Keith Haring rose to prominence in 1980s New York within the East Village art scene. Between 1980 and 1989, Haring achieved international recognition but was diagnosed with HIV in 1988. He had a brief but intense career which spanned the 1980’s.
In 1989 the Castellani Family invited Keith Haring to Pisa to realize what would become one of his most important, permanent public works, the monumental mural “Tuttomondo”.
On that occasion, the artist gave the family a wine label he had designed for the house wine of a friend’s restaurant, hoping that one day it could be used for a prestigious wine produced in Tuscany.

Good wines at solid price hitting a lot of regions and styles. This buyer know what’s up, chat with the staff and get some reca from them too.

Most of the Italian on bottom two rows are worth trying. I’m not a super Tuscan person so I would personally avoid that and I would try the French Gamay.
