Enjoying a 2009 Chateau Lagrange with a dry aged ribeye that I dry brined overnight and grilled med rare.
Wonderful wine from a great vintage that’s drinking excellent right now after a 4hr decant. Intoxicating nose of black cherry, cassis, violets, and leather. Smooth but present tannins. Alcohol is a little too present, but only a touch. Flavour intensity and length could be a little better, but it’s med plus. I’d give it a 92pt in my books right now.
