Difficult to eat. Only takes a few moments to separate them. Eating experience is much better separated.

The way wings are SUPPOSED TO BE!!!
PastaRunner
A bit less convenient to eat.
Not as inconvenient as separating them pre-cook, IMO
Whistler45
I prefer mine cooked crispy

This is what a wing is. How we allowed a piece of a wing to be considered a wing is beyond me. Luckily my local joint counts a whole wing as a wing, and ten are only like $12.

I prefer them whole for home cooking…it allows the wing to stay exposed to the heat just a BIT longer before drying out, which gives more time to get that crispy exterior and still have a juicy interior. I cook em whole then cut into pieces, and sauce.
ximjym
I prefer it like this. More crispy bits yum

Only way I cook mine. I like chewing on crisped up wing tips.

I prefer them in more of a classic fried chicken sense. Sauced wings are messy enough when broken down into drums/flats.
HOT-SAUCE-JUNKIE
Eat.

Nah its either flats or rounds for me I dont like that feathery nub on the end, I’m high maintenance.

I don’t care for the wing tips. They have no meat.
Maybe it’s a cultural thing because my wife is Jamaican and loves chicken backs which also have barely any meat. Jamaicans cook them till the bones are soft and at the marrow.

Not a fan. If I throw wings on grill I cook them this way and then cut before eating.
BohdiBrass
When I used to grill them all the time whole wings were my favorite. I deep fry primarily and always section now.
Mattrapbeats
Love them, great for grilling/smoking. Made some yesterday on my weber kettle in the snow

Love them
SprinqRoll
I prefer broken down wings. More surface area for crispyness and sauce. Also easier to consume. That being said, I would not turn down wings like these
LingeringSentiments
Sure but i’m always eating the drums first.
thatgirlindc
Love em but these just don’t look great at all! Presentation wise and some still have feathers covered in sauce 🫤
