What level of doneness would you say this is??

    I’d say close to medium rare. Definitely not rare but it’s also not quite medium.

    Medium. It’s overcooked for mid rare or rare. You can tell by the strands that are hardening. It looks good though.

  4. This on is on the cusp of medium. Medium rare is going to be warm red center with medium being hot pink center. It was prob pulled off the grill at med rare but while you let it rest, it does typically cook a little longer. Working at high end restaurants though, I would call this more medium.

  5. was this actually grilled? did it go from frozen straight to the grill? im only questioning it because of how it looks and the exterior of it 🤨

    Medium. I wouldn’t argue if someone called it medium rare though. The pink is getting pretty light.

  9. When I zoom in it looks rare or medium rare. When zoomed out it looks medium. Tricky picture!

    You could try letting your slice of steak oxidize for a better color then send it on Reddit.

    Are you cutting the steak in that bowl? Looks like you might be eating plastic parts of the bowl with the scratch/cut marks

  13. How did it taste? And would it taste better if everyone just told you it was medium rare?
