BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – On Christmas day, more than 100 volunteers at the Baton Rouge chapter of St. Vincent de Paul will come together to help give back this holiday season.
They will be giving out hot meals on Christmas day to those experiencing poverty and homelessness, at the St. Vincent de Paul dining room located at 220 St. Vincent de Paul Place.
From 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Christmas meals classic like turkey, ham, yams, and other sides will be served.
This is the 159th year of this great giveback to those who need it most. With the help of this initiative, St. Vincent de Paul is on track to serve over 300,000 meals to poor and homeless people.
