Recently I discovered udon is very tasty I heard udon is healthier than ramen because udon soup is based on dashi very sensitive soup but ramen have lots of fat (but includes a lot of vegetables in the soup though) You like Ramen or Udon which better??

I like Hamburgers AND Pizza.

Ramen looks so delicious rn
I always prefered udon and soba.
I prefer udon noodles in almost all my Asian soups. Doesn’t matter the broth to me.
Some ramens can be very heavy, along with Udon. They can also be very light and refreshing. I like both plenty 🙂 probably prefer ramen the most because I can take longer eating all the noodles. Udon feels more like a once in awhile dish.
If I had to choose. Ramen as long as I also get Tsukemen
My favorite is udon but I wouldn’t say no to a good bowl of ramen either!
Porque no las dos?
amazing udon will be amazing, but some ramen has been mind blowing, so ramen for me
Ramen. Udon is too thick for my liking.
I like both, but I think I like udon noodles a tiny bit better than the chuukamen in ramen. Udon is just the type of noodle, and there are definitely very unhealthy udon dishes. Low fat also doesn’t mean healthier. I’d rather eat two bowls of typical tonkotsu ramen than the calorie equivalent in plain kake-udon (udon in a dashi-based broth like in the picture). The former has a wider range of nutrients and will keep you full for longer.
Ramen
It depends on the situation and how I’m feeling. If I’m feeling sick or nauseous udon is perfect. It’s also easy to put together if you just have some dried udon noodles or frozen udon noodles, some dashi concentrate and soy sauce. I always have some frozen shrimp tempura from Costco to make tempura udon!
I want ramen if I want something hearty and heavy on my stomach, my favorite ramen is tonkotsu. I prefer the frozen ramen over dried instant ramen.
This question reminds me of a little funny story from when I was growing up. My immediate family moved to the US when I was 5. My mom told me that her mother (my grandmother ) would often ask the family if they felt like having țudon or soba. My grandfather which loved udon always picked udon however my grandmother being a bit of a health freak would always serve soba. She said he would like clock work say “why the heck do you bother asking me what I want if you are going to make what you want!?” 🤣
I still love ramen, but with age I am finding comfort in udon more often
