These Copycat Doritos are so much better than the original, they are easy to make and you can enjoy them hot which is the best way in my opinion! I made two varieties and both were pretty good! I made Nacho Cheese and Ranch, All you need is some corn tortillas and seasonings and you’re good, try this recipe for New Year’s Eve Parties, your guests will LOVE them we sure did!
Copycat Doritos 2 Flavors Ranch and Nacho Cheese
Corn Tortilla (cut into rectangular shares ) Dry Ranch Mix Oil For Frying
1/4 Cup Nacho Cheese Powder for Popcorn 1/2 tsp Paprika 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp Onion Powder 1/8 tsp Salt
You will need bags paper or plastic to shake your warm chips in for coating
Cut corn tortillas and place in hot oil, fry until crisp, I like my chips a little darker so they are completely cooked with no soft areas. Once the chips are finished frying place them on paper towels to drain excess frying oil. Once they have cooled down a bit shake them in your seasoning blends and ENJOY!! These are good hot and cooled!
