They are a sweet type of pickle but do have a pretty good kick! I’m always surprised by how much. Quite a bit hotter than the spicy dill. Tasty though provides you like sweet pickles.
Had some with my Christmas ham today!

They’re pretty damn hot. Also, they are NOT DILL. If you want high heat and like sweet pickles go for it.

If you want a truly spicy pickle that isn’t sweet or weird, and is crispy, I’d highly recommend Grillos pickles. They have multiple spice levels.

Absolutely love them! Unfortunately, I either have to order them online or drive for 3 hours to the U.S. to get them! I don’t know what Canada has against spicy food, but it seems like all the good stuff is down south!

They’re good but devils spit bbq sauce isn’t even spicy, so idk if these will be.
The sauce is just a bbq sauce with a lil kick

I tried them both and no one in my family enjoyed them. In fact, they coined the phrase Disappointment Pickles, which is now used for something we really wanted to be great and sucked something awful instead.

Their “spicy” in my opinion isn’t really that hot and I’m not one of the spice kings/queens on this reddit.
That being said, I like the flavor but normally avoid Dave’s since most their pickles are bread n butter. If I saw a spicy doll I’d for sure grab a jar just because.

The first time I got the Devil’s Spit pickles they were phenomenal, juicy and crispy and sweet and spicy. Every time since they have been soggy with no bite. They still taste good but I need some crisp in my pickles.

I love them. The heat level is really good for a cheap mass-market product, perhaps like 25% of a habanero or somewhere around there.
