  1. So instead of actual olive oil they are using hermoginated processed oil… loads of chemicals and chlorinated meat, also “baayyyzzzil” instead of basil!

  2. The fettucini…like you said, the US hyper-cheeses everything. Now, I like me some cheese, but then I moved overseas…and I THOUGHT I liked cheese growing up in the US, but now I find it almost not worth the effort, as European cheeses are soooooo much better. Euro-cheese actually has FLAVOR…sadly, for the US, it is either bland, or tastes like the contents of a mad scientist's experiment. But like I said, I didn't know that until I got out and got the good stuff.

  3. no point in asking Italians what fettuccine Alfredo is like! because in Italy they have never existed! 😅

  4. as an Italian the only pasta I've seen fried are tortellini in Bologna! Nobody makes fried lasagna! ah in Italy they don't even make garlic bread, I think it's more Anglo-Saxon

  5. Okay I am German, not Italian. And even Italian food in Germany may be much more authentic then in the U.S., but it is not 100% authentic too. That said ——–
I have never ever heard of Carbonara with chicken and shrimps! Carbonara has nothting to do with both of it. It is about Pasta, most times spaghetti. Then a sauce made by eggs and cream, some bacon and some spices, garlic. And that was it as far as my German mind knows about Carbonara. No chicken, no shrimps.
I really whished I could send you the original stuff from Italy! Unfortunately it is not possible but I can well understand about his reactions.
And no, Italians never deepfry any Ravioli!
To look at those meals even is disgusting to me as a German, how much more it must be for an Italian!

  6. The Girl Gone London was a big fan of Olive Garden when she lived in Florida, she then moved to London and ate in authentic Italian restaurants. She now gives Olive Garden a miss when she goes home.

  7. just because you are not italien you are not safe, im not italien and i went there once and also would classify it as uneatable. dotn do this to your brother…unless ofc you dont like him, i dont know whats the relationshiop here 😛

  8. im getting the feeling that olive garden is a practical joke that REALLY got out of hand and now its to late to come clean.
