It might be Jeju-style anchovy sauce that they serve in 삼겹살 restaurants in Jeju – super salty and super delicious.

I’m pretty sure it’s 맬젓. It’s a fermented fish sauce commonly eaten with jeju black pork. Unlike other sauces, this sauce it heated with the pork you cook

Probably mel jeot as /r/manbearfig7024 mentioned. It’s basically anchovy fish sauce with all the meat still in it pureed into a sauce.

Add a little bit of Soju, sliced garlics and a chopped green chili. Boil it on the grill and dip your pork in it. Just soak it and let it be absorbed! This is the authentic Jeju-style to eat Meljeot.

  5. It seems like myeolchi jut, like anchovy sauce. Salty but fully fished makes your pork taste better. Becarefule they steamed too much
