Santa’s helpers load toys and bikes at the Ukiah Valley Christmas Effort, in back of the former Curry’s Furniture store on Perkins Street. The Christmas Effort deliveries got off to an early start Christmas Eve. Helpers’ cars were lined up around the block to pick up their deliveries of meals and gifts.
