Hi,

I was wondering if anyone had this issue before. If so, how they fixed it.

My webber is 5 yo now and it started leaking gas from the red thing that connects to the gas cylinder (photo).

Do I need to replace the whole thing that connects the bbq and the gas cylinder? Is it easier to replace? Has anyone done it before?

Thanks!

It is a regulator. You replace the regulator, which is the red thing… it is not expensive, easy to do, and just replace it if you are unsure about it. It is a safety issue, better to be safe.
