My collection of whisks. Don’t hate, it works in a pinch.

Gharrrrrr
Where’s your flat whisk?
ConfectionPutrid5847
Missing a flat whisk and, more importantly, why on earth would you use a potato masher as a whisk?
Intiago
Any silicone covered whisk I’ve used the silicone breaks off. How does yours survive?

Where’s the egg whisk, bruh?

The star whisk is a MOOD

the only kitchen (by the loosest definition) ive ever worked in has been prefaced by “Mc” but i’m sure the one on the far right is not a whisk

Right one isn’t a whisk dude
Jeramy_Jones
Need a spring whisk, a dough whisk and a flat whisk.

Last one is a masher you fool.

What have you been whisking with the potato masher OP and for how long lol?
PM-me-spastic-potato
Not gonna lie, I’ve used that tiniest whisk on the left to whip up a quick 4 yolk hollandaise right at the end of Sunday lunch when I needed a few more serves to get through. It was way harder than I was expecting too haha

mashed potato “whisk”?!! God save you, we’re praying for your soul.

Hold on a minute
Number 4 looks like some kind of novelty Christmas whisk.
And Number 6? Clearly a potato masher masquerading as a whisk.
Quincy_Dalton
Exactly when would you be in a pinch with that many whisks?
Kryds
The three small ones are the only ones, that’s usable.
kooksies
First whisk on the left you must’ve gotten free with something right? I got the same one

I just use a fork 😂

I work with pretty small volumes. I don’t use whisks at all. I use a fork. I do however use a potato ricer.
Give me one minute with the proper pliers and I can turn that potato masher into a flat whisk. Easy peasy. Good for corporal punishment and not food because I’ll still use a fork.

I had blocked out how much disdain I have for whisks that have a coil wrapped handle. If that’s what you’re into, more power to you, but they always annoyed the hell out of me.

Idk why but in professional kitchens we call them whips.

One of these things is not like the others.
