just a simple white cake with strawberries and a cool whip frosting! it was delicious though and I think this is going to be a new hobby 🙂 any recommendations for easy but delicious beginner recipes?

It looks beautiful!! However please correct me if I’m wrong, the flowers look like baby’s breath, they should not be used on cakes as it is mildly toxic.

friend — baby’s breath is not food safe. if those are real flowers, they should not be used to decorate with. next time you decorate your cake and want to use real flowers, please be sure to look up the flowers first to make sure they’re food safe.

Beautiful cake! I recommend removing the fresh orange while storing. I had a cake get moldy from the fruit.

As an extra note, no flowers from the floral portion of anywhere will be edible. They are sprayed with pesticides to the nth degree to make sure there is no insect damage.
