I have had this bottle of wine on the pantry standing upright. Got when we bought the new car in 2019. Would it still be drinkable?

I…don’t know what to say here.

    I’m sickened, but curious.

  2. It’s merlot, it is possible it is still good but I doubt it’s a high quality wine giving it has a Kia label and a twist cap. Can’t hurt you!

Last night we let the Southland Kia 2016 Merlot talk…

I don’t think it was drinkable when you received it.

Probably be a great gluhwein. Season ain’t over yet!

The good news is it probably won’t be any worse than it was when you first received it.

Honestly maybe. Only one way to find out.

First thoughts, gross, on closer inspection Yarra valley can do decent merlot crack it open and find out!

  9. It’s clear this thread needs a moderator. The wine snobbery is just out of this world… This hand selected wine is the perfect accompaniment when driving a Kia.

  10. When you tell someone you found this bottle the first thing they’ll ask is “Well, how was it?” and if you dp it you wont be able to answer the question. I say give it a whirl and see whatcha got. I agree it probably wont be great but it wont kill you. You can dump it if it’s trash.

And it doesn’t matter that it has been standing up. That’s just to keep the cork moistened for wines under cork so they don’t disintegrate. Twist off doesn’t have that problem.

  11. i mean idk maybe your local kia dealership’s owner is a big wine guy and it’s halfway decent. only one way to find out
