I know they paid $700 (as I’m laughing all the way to the bank)

That’s like /r/wewantplates combined with horrible presentation

  3. I don’t know who their linen company is, but I’m not sure I would be eating off those table clothes. Maybe put everything on some old crusty sheet pans next time.

Some manager realized how much money they’d save on dishwashing if they just… didn’t have dishes.

Lol. Let me at a Costco for $300 and a dollar store for food safe trays.

Catering walked off with a huge profit…lmao.

And no jam or pastry on the brie? Weaksauce! (Could have easily blended a few cups of the berries with some sugar and made jam…not enough sweet components on the table.)

That spread would be terrible even if it was on trays

You know this bride probably raised a stink about the cost of dinnerware and this is how the caterer dealt with it.

  8. I am trying to see how this happens because like… They had to bring the food IN something right, they didn’t just have a bag of stuff.

So someone decided “shit we forgot plates… Let’s just pour it onto the tablecloth” and not “well, we can at least keep it in the packaging we brought it in”??!

Why did anyone think this was better?!

“Hay Dave you put the platters in the Van right?”

Hate to say a vegetable ramp would do much better

The plastic spoons and forks ad an elegant touch to this fine display of charcuterie/ smorgasbord of stuff.

I think I would put the caterers head in the berries if I were presented something like this. What the actual fuck.

Dollar General is never more than a few miles away, get some cheap-ass plastic serving dishes as the very least. Holy hell.

“Just put them on the table”

    “Yes chef”

*chef never once checked what they were working with outside*

Should have paid the extra $1000 for plates and ramps…

This is like an installation art piece. I’m not sure that it’s NOT

Judging by the run-off they’re not even fresh berries

  18. Absolutely insane setup. No plates for crackers and charcuterie is horrible enough but I just can’t imagine how a person could just dump all those berries directly onto a fucking tablecloth (a white one no less) and just think “Yeah that looks good”

  19. It looks like someone is going to climb onto that table and start stomping the fruit to make wine.
