The design is based of off Yaun dynasty Jingdezhen blue-and-white porcelain. It is an almond pound cake filled with a black pepper raspberry compote frosted with vanilla American buttercream. I had so much fun painting the dancing carp and sculpting the topper out of marzipan 🙂

WOWWWW! I’ve always been fascinated by the Yuan dynasty, and I’ve never seen a cake inspired by it before! This is the first time I’m seeing one, and it looks amazing—perfectly made. I wish I could taste it through the screen 😃💗
