It’s not as pretty as most of the stuff on this sub but I’m super proud of my first Croquembouche! First time making Choux pastry, diplomat, and caramel. 10/10 messy and delicious. I have more than one sugar burn now but it was worth it 🙂
Used the recipe from Claire Saffitz dessert person.

    There’s a clip in the show “AP Bio” where the guy didn’t wanna bake for the bake sale and this lady was pushing him to and she’s known to make cream puffs.

    So. He makes a croquembouche. Brings it in. Says something along the lines of this is a croquembouche, it’s like cream puffs but better. Sets it on the counter and walks out 😭

    This reminded me of that.

    Anyway.

    It looks amazing.
