

Hello all, I made peanut powder by roasting red chillies, curry leaves, garlic and peanuts. After a week, mold has formed on this. I stored it on a shelf, did not refrigerate it. Does anyone know why this happened? Or how I can prevent it?

Excess moisture and contaminated container or utensils. Next time make a smaller batch and keep it in the fridge. Or dehydrate and make an actual powder to keep on a shelf.
This is regular food spoilage. Cold inhibits mold growth.
