MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – A Memphis restaurant opened its doors on Christmas in the spirit of giving back to others, continuing a long tradition.
Brother Junipers on Walker Avenue offered up a free Christmas meal.
This is the 25th year the Koplin family, owners of the Highland Strip eatery, have shared the reason for the season with the community.
They look forward to it every year.
“It’s magical, truly,” co-founder and manager Darya Koplin said. “It’s truly special to give people warm plates and feel love, which is what Christmas is all about.”
