I tried an easy recipe. Took oven to 500f and placed roast in for 25 minutes. Turned off oven and used residual heat to continue cooking until internal temp was at 115f. Then tented roast until temp hit 125f. Was looking for a medium rare. I think it turned out OK. Served with some rice, greens, and a dollop of ketchup.

He’s Asian, let the man lived. Prime ribs look good, rice has a little soy sauce, good a mount of green. But I do agreed ketchups was an abomination.
10/10 as long as that ketchup goes *nowhere* near it while you’re enjoying it.
It touches the ketchup, you may as well bin it and cry about wasted money
Perfect
I like a little ketchup with my steak every once in a while.
This method is good only if the roast is room temp and not too big. Some modern ovens have quick cooling which screws with you too 🤣 yours turn out great!
Looks delish!!
I rate it delicious.
Inside looks good, crust could be better, ketchup doesn’t belong here.
Brother.. you need to explain the ketchup.
A perfectly cooked prime rib…and you have ketchup. I’m so fucking hurt.
People giving you shit, but I think it looks great. It’s nice to see another Asian on here. Prime rib and rice are delicious.
There better be some fries on that table
Would be a 9/10 without the ketchup, new assessed score is a 0
easily a n eight out of t….
GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE AND NEVER COME BACK
For a piece of meat that big the reverse sear is a better way to cook it. The meat comes out looking more appetizing. Still pretty good.
…
all of this seems very unseasoned.
With ketchup?!?
Dollop of… bro
Fried Chicken to Prime Rib.
Looks like a sink steak
