My chickens have us swimming in eggs right now so quiche recipes are real winners for us. I am adding this one to my book. Thank you so much for sharing! Those are some lovely eggs you are using – nice orange yolks!
My wife makes these all the time.
Can we make the pastry a day earlier?

Good grief, that looks absolutely delicious! Thank you for the recipe.
Okay, maybe my ears need some cleaning, but I swear you sound almost exactly like Baldermort's guide to 40k. All hail the emperor.
Another delicious one John be nice with a salad.

I put the pastry case in the oven and then fill it, that way you reduce the chance of spilling when you’re moving it to the oven.
Hi John it’s Bob C❤
In the USA we also relish a quiche with a crust. I'm blessed to know a place near by that makes a spinach quiche with a crust and also quiche Lorain which is just convenient for my tea time.
Good tea time 💌💌💌💖
❤❤❤
Looks amazing, I love quiche ❤
Hi, what is the reason for cooling the pastry before using it?
Hi John,
From Chennai, India. I love cooking and I love Quiche. Came across your channel while searching for burger bun recipe today. Wanted to try my hand in baking. Absolutely wonderful burger buns, level of detail, outcomr and step by step recipe method encouraged me to bake. Im going to try the burger buns soon and Quiche.
Thanks for sharing and Subscribed.
I love my quiche filled with cheese, leek and mushroom! I also like to keep them into freezer and reheat them in airfryer whenever i need a quick tea break! ❤
This is now a regular Saturday night tea for us! Thank you John. 🇦🇺👍🏻
We’ve loved you and your videos for years! ❤ Six years ago, you did a similar video on quiche Lorraine and salmon & broccoli quiche. In that video, you did not blind bake the crust before adding the fillings. Having tried both methods myself, I find that skipping the blind baking is both easier and results in a MUCH better crust. The blind baked crust tends to be tough and over-browned by the time the filling is cooked/set. Just wanted to post a comment, incase anyone tries this recipe and ends up with a tough, over-baked crust with blind baking.
Your the best
Good recipe – you say 180C for the case but your oven control shows a fan symbol. So is this 180C with the fan on?
Hi John, Now I understand why my quiches aren’t great. Not enough egg!
I’d like to make a donation but won’t use PayPal because of who owns it. I’ll consider a membership in the mean time. Thanks for all your great cooking and videos.
Sir John… your quiche seems to be delicous… but just for me: I would ad some bacon… that's my composition… I love bacon , cheese and onions together… but it's only my oppinion!!!
Good luck for 2025 to you 🎩👍👍🇩🇪
