Lamb loin chops, seared and basted them and finished it in the oven. Everyone said it was undercooked, what does everyone think?

Looks awesome. Lamb is incredibly underrated. Top up with some mint jelly

Edit: lamb needs needs to be medium rare or under

Please dear please don’t put mint on it! As an Australian, I can tell you, nobody puts mint on lamb here, and our lamb is the best. Sorry NZ.

I would strongly suggest rare for all lamb and now that you’ve broken the barrier you should sincerely try goat it is even better
Start with the cheese and butter
You are in for a treat 💯💪❣️

Those are not undercooked at all. If anything, I prefer mine a more rare.

Costco and Sam’s lamb are great. Everyone is so weird about eating it that it remains cheap.

Great cook for the first time.

I marinate mine in yogurt, lemon and spices. Grill med high to high five minutes a side for perfection

“They went together like lamb and uh tunafish. You prefer spaghetti and meatbawl?”

Looks so good. I’d eat!!! If you have a sous vide that’s the way to do those lil pieces. I get them from Costco and sousvide them for like 4 hours at 135. Then take my literal propane blow torch to them and cook the fuck pit of the outside.

Looks like you did a great job! Enjoy!

  10. You know if you like those kabobs next time put them on a stick with veggies mixed with chicken and beef
And make yourself some rice pilaf
You’ve got yourself a real Middle Eastern dish if you add some pita and hummus

I’ve only cooked lamb over a wood fire with garlic salt and rosemary. So good

Why on earth did someone cut the “tails” off them. Cooked right, they are the best bit. I think I remember from a previous post that that is how they are sold in the US and maybe other places, but as n Aussie I reckon it’s sacrilege
