

Smoked a 5 lb tri tip at 225 using the super smoke mode. Cook time was a little over 3 1/2 hrs .Also reversed seared at 2 minutes on each side. Used the Meater plus, temped at 135. Used the Gospel Meat church all purpose rub applied for 24 hrs. Came out phenomenal!

Stupid question.. did you revers sear only on that cast iron, or smoke it on there the whole way through
