Diced potatoes in meat patties are surprisingly good. Here’s a nostalgic recipe from my childhood. Served with a napa cabbage stir fry, and some roasted sweet potatoes that were both juicy and caramelised.
* 1200g ground pork * 1 small potato * Half a small onion * 3 tsp salt * 3 tsp white pepper * 3 tsp corn starch * 1 tsp sugar
**Instructions:**
1. Wash and finely dice the potato and onion. 2. Get it into a mixing bowl along with the pork and the seasonings, and mix vigorously until it forms a paste. 3. Form meat mixture into evenly sized meatballs. 4. Place meatballs into a nonstick skillet, press to flatten. Brown them on both sides on medium-low heat, working in batches if needed. 5. Cover the pan with a lid to trap steam, flipping every few minutes. 6. Serve hot!
