Happy New Year.
Due to the 2024 late UK season I decided to choose three of my Super Hots to overwinter. I also decided to ignore all the advice about cutting them down.
It’s -1 C now and they are flourishing and makeshift space at the bottom of the bed under the lamp from last season.
They are not the healthiest they have been but they are alive and flowering.
Hoping for a super early start to the 2025 season. Going to try to resist the chilli splurge and stick to just these three plants for 2025.

They look great! I have made the same experience (in Germany). There is no need for cutting back, especially if you’re overwintering the plants in a warm and light place. Though you have to look out for aphids in the first days after transfering the plants indoors.
