I made some macarons for an NYE party, and I'm superbly proud of them. Also, my friend is the cutest because she took pictures for me after I forgot to and she put them on a plate and styled them beautifully. I would not have bothered with all that!
Also, side question: does anyone know how to keep them from browning at the edges?

Whoa you did!! :0 these are amazing 💙
They look fantastic! These are my nemesis, which recipe did you use?
Those cookies are beautiful and I want to bite them 😊🥰
Beautiful!
Beautiful! Mine have always browned around the edges. You could play around with temp and cook time. Maybe a little cooler oven, baked for a little longer.
May I ask what you used for a filling? It looks amazing! ( I wouldn’t complain if you shared your recipe for both the cookies and the filling!)
Dang straight you did! Well done!
Is anybody gonna say the word?
Daaaaaammnnnn yo you did it!

They are perfect.
They look fantastic!! Very well done on a hard fricking bake!!!
Macarons always remind me of pretty patties and these absolutely look like pretty patties so yes you definitely did the thing
You really did! Great job 👏🏼
You definitely did the thing, and they look delicious! I dont know why, but some colors show browning more noticeably than others. The lighter blues in particular, in my experience.
Now we just need for you to teach the rest of us.
I need help. Either mine don’t get that little rough edge, they crack, or have an incomplete center. I can’t manage to get all three of those perfect, it’s always one of them.
Pretty patties?
Cute! Mine always brown too. I’ve read that putting foil on top for the last few minutes or a baking tray above/below could help with prevent it. Doesn’t hurt to try!
