I’m not a pro as I’m still learning myself, but if you don’t sprinkle flower underneath before placing the loaf or parchment paper, it very well could be stuck to the pan. You may need to just let it cool and pull it out by hand. May not be the best but only thing I can think of.

wait til it cools down. next time use a baking sheet 😀
Artistic-Traffic-112
Cook it med heat on the hob for five to ten mins.

Did you try warming the pan up a little? Might soften the loaf a bit

My sourdough never gets stuck to my cast iron, it comes right off. Maybe clean your cast iron well, with soap and scrub it well. Then reseason.

How long has it been cooling?

LOL! You’ll just have to wait till it cools. I use parchment paper or you can buy one of these [https://a.co/d/2VBcQmZ](https://a.co/d/2VBcQmZ)
I’d turn the bitch ass upside down on its head and then give it a few shakes over a towel. Then, if that didn’t work, I’d get my spatula and put it to it’s behind until it calmed down.

just run a little water in the pan to cool it off. it’ll come right out.
>! I am absolutely joking! don’t do this. !<

Next time sprinkle some flour on the pan before putting the dough on it.

I know this one!
you don’t.
the problem is that the bottom of the dough wasn’t dry.
you put some water there that’s why it is stuck. Avoid at all cost.

Use some motherfucking parchment paper next time. As long as we’re doing the Samuel L Jackson voice, I figured that made sense. Don’t use silicone or rubber though.

“Bitch ass loaf” sent me.
Perhaps consider parchment paper for your next loaf.

I always put corn meal in my dutch oven before the bread to prevent sticking

Wait til it has cooled enough to handle. It’ll get a bit soggy underneath. Channel your anger into bending it right out of the pan. Then you can chuck it in the oven on a rack for another 5 minutes at 150c/300f or so to dry it back out, and it’ll crisp right back up. Worst case, some of the bottom crust will remain in the pan, but you’ll happily eat the rest of the bread.
Did you preheat the pan properly before putting your dough in it? I never use parchment paper because I think it’s better if routine tasks don’t generate more garbage. So as you understand, I’ve also experienced stuck bread. But not very often.
