    You need to have everything else back in the grill and the lid closed. Without the internals it runs much hotter than it should.

    Assuming that is one of the newer ironwood grills, you need to season it with the heat diffuser, drip pan, and other internals in my guy!

    Another 61 degrees and you have a grill that is hotter than hell.

    Ya man like everyone is saying put the parts back in and season it with the grill sets in
