New to Traegers – I’m assuming this is not normal?
My first attempt at seasoning my unit.

You need to have everything else back in the grill and the lid closed. Without the internals it runs much hotter than it should.

Assuming that is one of the newer ironwood grills, you need to season it with the heat diffuser, drip pan, and other internals in my guy!
