Inspired by the recent post of SingleThread wine pairings, here are two different tiers of pairings I served a table earlier tonight. Curious to see what do the sub thinks I charged/how much you all would pay for either/both of these.

Id be interested to know the pour sizes but i’d guess 195 for the first and 395 for the second

300 the first 500 the second

I’m guessing the charge is 400 / 1000
I would rather buy a couple bottles off the list.

175-350? Even then, steep unless you’re doing 3+oz pours which would end up being a ton of wine maybe too much.
Second pairing infinitely more appealing, it’s cool you’re pouring old tahblik marsanne on the first but it’s like you blew your margin halfway through the pairing and had to pour current release for the rest of the wines.

Just gotta say the 2008 Tahbilk is going to be amazing.

01 Pepe is the dankness. I’ve had the privilege of selling and tasting that vintage a few times.

I’m surprised to see something from lake Nagambie there, its a bit obscure for that list

$150/$300 would be nice but I’m sure it’s more like $200/$500. I generally feel pairings suck but this is damn good/interesting so I’d be tempted.

Was this in Australia? I think with this menu location matters.

1920 Para Tawny is insanely good. Was lucky enough to try it at the winery.
