Should probably check manufacturers instructions for this one bud, good luck!

Throw it in the tri sink fill the sink with hot water let it sit for a hour

It’s meant for poppers with a heating element attached to the pump.
You slowly drop the pump in and it slowly melts the oil, making it liquid and pump able.
Meant for larger popcorn poppers — hence why it’s called popping oil.

Legit need a pump made for drums.

That little hole on the left is for a pump.

Heat up the outside of the can with the lid off it’ll all slide right out

I would take the whole lid off. Pull the tabs up with a flat head screwdriver and the lid will come off.

That’s made for a commercial popcorn popper. The pump hose that is inserted into the hole has a heating element attached to it that makes the oil pumpable.

Put a blanket around it.

Remove the lid. I use cans of coconut oil like this-I use a screwdriver to flip up the flaps, and then remove the lid. Yes, it is solid but becomes soft and easier to scoop out over 75°. I keep my oils lower temperature for storage, around 50°, so I use big knives and metal spoons to scoop it out then melt it, and pour where I need it.

Commercial popcorn places these – there’s a heated pump that melts the oil as needed. They usually come with the setup. I worked at a movie theater once that did it this way – the pump came with the popping machine and the vendor was happy to sell us another one when it got thrown away with the empty oil container.
Ok_Spell_597
Pop it in the steam table/hot box.

you pry the tabs open with a flathead screwdriver. stick the tip of the screwdriver 🪛 into the hole in each tab on the lid and pry it open by lifting the screwdriver handle towards the top of the lid.

My dumbass was going to say “unlid it, use a ladle and heat gun”, but I’ve been humbled by the real answer, just in time.
