A home made beef stew, fatty prices of beef, red and white onion, garlic, leek, carrot, brocoli stem, mushrooms and potato. Reduced with red wine and then stock added. Lots of spice here, ground coriander, cumin, paprika, clove, all spice and dried herbs. A touch of chilli and some balsamic vinegar. Finished off with some butter and herbs. Tasting even better the second day after another round of slow cooking. Yum.

Beef stew is criminally underrated. What a brilliant dish and yours looks fantastic. Cheers

  3. I love that you captured the steam rising from the stew.

I love a beef stew, and yours sounds like a great new recipe to try. Mind dropping the recipe or DMing it?

The meat shouldn’t fall apart until you bite into it.

Perfect! Bread and Red are musts!
Consider making the stew with half chuck and half cheek meat. Beef cheek seems to be ignored. Fantastic
