    great bottle-too cold out of the fridge and a bit metallic at first, opened up into fresh green apple, burnt milk, butter, custard, lemon yogurt

    loved it-much better than the aligote, which is already pleasant to drink.

    Interesting you mention the Chardonnay over the Aligote, which the latter some believe is very good (his strength). The flavor profile you describe sounds delicious! I’ve been buying Pataille lately, but not white at the moment. Marsannay rouge, Clos du Roy and Les Grasses. Will try his white wines this spring. I can see myself buying each year.
