Nah you gotta pour the cheese and mustard onto the pretzel in a fancy pattern. Then a guy is sunglasses ( may be tall , may be short) comes by and lights it on fire to reveal it was a burnt ass gold covered steak the whole time! s/ kinda….

oops, this is the normal way. imagine laying that big pretzel onto a plate. hell someone might start a sub making fun of putting large pretzels on plates if that happens. imho this is legit
the one time i saw a denver broncos game they were out of half of their things, but they had (smaller) warm pretzels and – here is my reminder – half microwaved cheese cup like in this pic. so the pretzel and sauce both had cold halves. you couldnt have fucked it up more. never liked the broncos since

This is a very normal way to serve a large pretzel.

Where the heck do the commenters here live that this is normal? I have literally never seen a pretzel served this way. They always come on plates.

Not only is this relatively normal, you could remove it and place it on the provided plate underneath.

This is somewhat normal, isn’t it?
You just pull it off and dip.
