Hey everyone and happy new year :))

I’ve been experimenting with the quantities for a fudgy, pudding-like, saucy mug cake using protein powder. I can't have most protein powders with water or milk, so I wanted to make something that works for me, and I think I’ve nailed it! I thought I’d share my recipe with you all.

I've attached a photo of my log in the comments since I for some reason couldn't add it in the post for reference. Keep in mind, the protein content might vary based on the ingredients available in your area, but I recommend sticking to these measurements for the best results:

Ingredients:

1 scoop protein powder (I use chocolate)

1 egg

30ml of any milk

5g cocoa powder

10g honey

1-2g baking powder

20g of any flour

10g chocolate chips (optional, but they make it extra decadent!)

Add a splash or two of water while mixing

Calories: 365 (according to the ingredients I use)

Protein: 35g

Instructions:

I personally microwave on high for 43 seconds (my perfect timing for a fudgy, slightly saucy texture). But you can adjust the microwave time based on your preferred texture. If it turns out a bit dry, don’t worry—the saucy bits will make up for it!

Its not exactly low calorie but its quite filling and genuinely tastes so fricking good while packing in protein. Let me know if you give it a try and how it works out for you!
