This was my third visit to SingleThread and my first time having lunch there. In contrast to the 10-course dinner menu, the lunch menu is a more modest 7 courses, allowing me to complete the meal in right around an hour.
As has been the case with previous visits, the food was once again outstanding. The assortment of seafood that greets you upon being seated is always delicious, but so, too, was every other savory course. And while the kitchen does use some richer ingredients (e.g. duck liver, wagyu, short ribs), I didn’t feel the least bit sluggish at the end of the meal.
Between the exceptional food and service coupled with the ease of making reservations, SingleThread has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants.
