Been going to the bon aire to watch football games, and let me tell ya, their food is honestly a great deal. Their burger is cooked on a fire grill and tastes like something you’d eat at a family bbq.
Plus it’s only 3.99. 4.99 if you want cheese. Definitely recommend. Their toppings bar needs some work, but they still have pickles and onions.
Also their chili dogs are crazy good and like 4 dollars as well. Plus free popcorn and friendly bartenders.
That is all. Thank you have a nice day.

Love BA. Add some fries, ranch, and an order of fried raviolis and that’s our game day spread
Love bon aire! Their beef kebabs are quite tasty as well but the burger is my favorite.
Bon Aire is awesome. Agree with all of the above, and the house made Scotty Hot Brats are superb. Fried ravioli and Peel n Eat shrimp make great appetizers. You can get very full and have a decent beer for under 15 bucks.
Never heard of them before. Will try soon.
Burger and fries are good, I just wish the wings weren’t as charred. I might have just gotten a bad skewer
Looks great! Thanks for the post 🙂
Food looks good – I’ve been meaning to go there. But their menu says no take out, which makes it a little harder me to get to (and is a little surprising these days).
Haven’t been but a buddy that pre-scouted it out for me vouched for the food but warned that they make it out of you with high-priced booze. If you’re not there for the booze it doesn’t matter of course
Bon Aire is one of my favorite before austin fc spots. you can park there, grab some great food and bev and then the bus runs straight down the road to q2.
TheY host a big Pittsburgh Steelers watch party for all the games. I haven’t been but it’s good to know the food is legit.
Yea they gotta build one down south. Might I suggest near Slaughter/Menchaca?
$5?! Cheaper than fast food
Gives me a bon aire
I need to try this place!
Not anymore. Thanks a lot, pal.
Hands down favorite whole in the wall bar! The food is so good and affordable. Love the peel and eat shrimp that feels like all you can eat because the price is so low.
I’m from St. Louis, MO. This place is modeled after Fast Eddie’s Bon Air in the St Louis Metro area (Illinois metro). The owners of the St Louis bar came down and helped the Austin Bon Air get started with menu items, decor, and set up. We go and it’s like being back in the Lou.
Every kabob is amazing as well, even the veggie
Bon aire is awesome and the owner is a really nice guy!
Bon Aire is awesome and good bang for your buck, but you don’t go there for good food. You happen to eat there after you’ve been drinking.
One of my favorite places to watch a game, food isn’t bad at all for the price, everyone was friendly. Went once to watch the Super Bowl since pluckers was over crowded and i don’t regret it
I know it’s a sports bar but I wish it was more clean/less stinky. Maybe I’ve just been on bad days.
And trivia on Tuesdays!
I’m shocked this place is getting good reviews, I’ve been twice, and it’s hands down the worst burger I’ve had in Austin. Dry, flavorless. It’s ONLY redeeming quality is that it’s only $5, so at least you’re not getting overcharged. But it is by no means a good burger. Maybe I just went on off days?
Love them. Would love them more if they added cheap stadium nachos and a soft serve machine. 🍦
Put NADC on your list next 🍔🤌🏽
Wow I’ll have to try it, love a tasty deal. My wife and I always joke about the name sounding like a trampoline park when we pass by. The logo doesn’t help.
Love them!! Last year they had trivia nights on Tuesdays
The meat skewers are so good. I love a kabob,
