I know nothing about wine. What is this and why is it so big?
Could someone tell me what this is, from who, how much these are, and where could you even get one?
Last slide is an 8in walkie talkie for reference.

Large format bottles signed by the former winemaker Bob Cabral.

Kinda like that ER comes in a 1.75, so do some wines come in larger bottles. You should see a 6l

Can’t speak to the third which looks like whiskey? The Pinot noir is probably out of this world. Williams Selyem is an incredible producer of Pinot noir making very serious wines. I trust Zinfandel to age less than a great Pinot, but the second one could be decent too. These look like 3L bottles which are 4 regular bottles, and signed by the wine maker. These are probably pretty damn expensive.
Current releases of these go for about $100 for a standard 750 ml bottle of wine.

I love me some Billy! Great pinots. Can’t speak to the Zin, but probably delicious. Both definitely ready to drink. Should be fine in large format.

You can purchase large bottles of wine most places, whether specialty shops/Costco/etc. Like someone else said, those are likely 3 L bottles. I’ve seen anything up to 18L bottles – they’re ridiculous, and as you might imagine pouring them is not easy. As for why someone would want them, there are a few reasons. for one, they’re impressive. I love bringing 1.5 liter bottles to parties and the like, and when large groups of wine nerds gather regular bottles are rarely large enough to go around. They’re also collectable – at auction premiums are often paid for larger format bottles. They are usually rarer than normal sized bottles. Additionally, the idea is also that wine ages slower in large formats, so you can keep them longer in the cellar.

Middle bottle looks like the cork is pushing out, indicating improper storage, no?

That is a magnum bottle for your monster thirst.

The big question is are you really going to push that trolley across cobbles and around the hotel with the wine just sitting on it like this?
